The club is justifiably proud of its hosting of the annual Troon 10k & fun-runs. From a modest entry of 115 in 1986 we now have to limit the entry to 1,100, making it one of the largest mid-week 10ks in the country, the organisation of which would not be possible without the assistance of a great many volunteers.
Stewarding has always been a priority and for this we are grateful to the police and the many stewards.
Small friendly club catering for all abilities.
We meet at the Marr college sports complex on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
At 7:00pm with the option of a longer run on Sunday mornings at 10pm.
Tuesday & Thursday sessions are structured by our head coach Graeme McKenzie to suit all members.
Membership costs £15 per annum.
Club runners take part in races from 5k to ultra distance (42k+) all over the country & some have competed abroad. A popular event for the club is the “round Arran relay” this consists of teams of 6 runners circuiting The Isle of Arran.
